In July 2026, two Japanese clients visited WAFU’s smart lock factory in Shenzhen. They examined invisible remote lock and wireless electronic lock structures on site, and discussed Japan door-type fit, OEM/ODM customization, and export delivery face to face.
Visit background
The Japan market places high requirements on door-side concealment, quiet operation, and easy retrofit. The clients wanted an on-site understanding of R&D, quality inspection, and delivery capability at a Shenzhen smart lock factory, and to assess whether invisible anti-theft lock OEM and smart lock ODM custom solutions fit local channel needs.
On-site technical exchange
During the visit, both sides reviewed lock bodies, handles, and internal mechanisms in the meeting room, focusing on invisible remote lock installation, remote penetration and security protection, and keyless entry lock use in homes and apartments.

- Door-type fit: discussed retrofit paths for common Japan door types to reduce overseas install and after-sales cost

Cooperation direction
Both sides reached a preliminary intent on sample testing, follow-up prototyping, and Japan channel cooperation. Product configuration and delivery timing will proceed after sample evaluation, continuing to support overseas buyers of smart locks and wireless electronic lock export demand.
